Model: TL-WR941HP
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.0.2

I am using TL-WR941HP v2.0 as a wireless router for my PPPoE connection.

The router wifi signal keeps on dropping intermittently.

NO device is able to connect to the router wirelessly. Devices show error 'unable to connect to the wireless network' when trying to connect.

Hence I cannot even access the web management portal of the router via any wireless device.

I have to manually switch off the router and switch it on again to get access to the wireless network.

This happens three to four times in a day.

All the three lights on the router remain white in colour when the router connection error occurs.

I have updated to the latest router firmware. I also tried changing the wireless frequency to 20Mhz and wireless channel to 1, 2, 6 and 11.

But the issue still continue to occur daily.

Please help.

@Allan007

Apologies for the delayed response.

Are all the devices connected to the WR941HP via wireless connection? What are they, are they some laptops, phones? Or range extenders? As I found they all show as Xiaomi repeaters?

Is it possible to connect a computer to the WR941HP with an Ethernet cable, monitor if the connection will drop. If it drops are well, please check if you can access the web management portal of the router, then check if there is a WAN IP address, show us the screenshot, thanks.

@Kevin_Z

All the devices are connected via wifi only.

There are cell phones, repeaters and laptops.

The internet connection is stable when I connect the router to a laptop via a LAN cable. The problem occurs only with the wireless network.

@Allan007

How many devices are connected to the WR941HP via wireless, including those connected to the repeater?

What if you remove the repeater from the network, only leave the laptops and phones to the router, will the connection be stable?
