Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20200716 rel. 84595

I bought my router in understanding that One mesh support was coming asap. Now, almost 8 months waiting and 1 firmware update i had but no onemesh feature. Can somebody please give any update, i only heard the update was scheduled and planned. I paid a big load of money for a top segment router and it was promised the one mesh firmware update should come asap.

Please respond

@Kemal61

Hi, the developer does provide a beta version for the Onemesh firmware for the AX11000, you can install it on yours if you want to build up an Onemesh network with an existing Onemesh range extender. Get the download link from the below thread:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/261318

The official version will be available soon, you can wait for the official version if you don't want to use the beta firmware.

Thanks a lot.

Hello, thanks for your kind reminding. We totally understand your needs and frustration when waiting for a new feature for this long, but we also need your understanding that a new function like onemesh on the AX11000 may require sufficient tests by the developer to provide you a good experience, so this may take time to accomplish. As confirmed with the developers, the onemesh firmware for the AX11000 is expected to be released later this year, we hope you can wait another one or two months.

@Kevin_Z

Hi Kevin,

Any update on the timeline for AX11000 onemesh support?  Also, any idea if RE450 will ever be supported?

Unfortunately it seems ASUS really has the Mesh game on lock, with compatibility for almost all of their older routers - what gives?

Thank you!

Hello @Kevin_Z , I have one AX11000 plugged on internet and i'm looking to buy a second one to extend the wifi of the 1st one (all of the 3 bands, not just one), through wifi connection (mesh) and not with the help of a wired cable (bridge).

Can I do this ?

@Karapace

Nope, the Onemesh router can only work with the Onemesh extenders, you can check this:
