Hi,

 

I have the RE connected to the router via wifi, and from the RE I have a network cable connected to my computer.

There is a disconnection for about 3-4 seconds every hour.

 

I already upgraded the firmware but still happens.

Sorry for the delay.

Both the wireless connection and Ethernet connection would drop the internet right?

Would the 2.4ghz and 5ghz lights turn off, or be steady on?

May I know the model number of your home router?

How long have you had the extender and when did this issue start?

When the disconnect occurs the lights on the RE450 continue to be blue

My router is D-Link DSL-G256DG

I had the issue since I connected the ethernet cable

Do not know if happens without the cable

Sorry for the delay.

We would like to follow up on your case by email.

At the same time, could you please help me check the following information:

1. when the laptop is connected via Ethernet cable and the disconnection happened again, what were the IP address and default gateway on the laptop?

2. Are you able to ping the gateway?

3. what did you do to recover the connection, like rebooting the RE, or it would recover automatically?

4. would you please log into the RE450 and save the system log when the connection dropped out again? (please make sure the RE450 did not reboot before saving the log.)
