Model: RE200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20201030 Rel. 39260

Through RE200, I would like to create a 2.4 GHz extension on a specific channel by connecting to a 5GHz host network.
But I can't find a way to change the channel through the tether app, I wonder if it's possible!

@dejackdani

Good day,

Thank you for your patience.

There is no setting yet to change the channel on the Tether APP.

Normally, range extender would sync the same wireless channel from the home router;

Thanks a lot.

@TP-Link can you tell me if an update has been scheduled to add this functionality?

@dejackdani

Hi, thank you for your time and patience.

I am afraid not and we haven’t got the updated news about this feature yet.

Thanks a lot.
