Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.5.1 Build 20201022 Rel. 66804

The deco M5 is so unstable, sometime is normal, but most of the time is only 1/4 speed of direct connect to isp.

I upgraded to latest firmware and downgraded to older versions, but none of this solve the problem.

There is only one way to solve this issue, is to power off the other decos only keep one.

Is there a way I can refund the product? It is horrible.

@Johnluan

Good day,

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Really sorry for the inconvenience.

You might need to contact the local shop retailer to return the Deco unit.

 And if you would like to spend more time, we would be happy to check if there is any other suggestion;

Would you please help me check the following information:

1. How are the Decos connected to each other? Wirelessly or Ethernet connection? Different floors?

2. How far away between each Decos?

3.Are you able to run cables between each Decos to test the stability as well as the speed?

Thank you very much for your understanding and support.

@TP-Link thank you for your reply

Decos connect each other via wifi, they are on the same floor in a line.  And around 7 meters each.

I can put them together, use short cables connect them.

@Johnluan

Yes, Sorry for the delay.

We would like to follow up on your case by email and please have a check of your email box later.

At the same time, when you connect then via Ethernet cable, would the instability get improved?

Would any Deco become red when the connection dropped out?

What are the status of the satellite Decos and client and are they online or offline on the Deco APP?

Thanks a lot for your understanding and support.
