Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: latest

I have set my transmitting power to low ( default was high), because it covers my house on low.
My question is, does transmitting power also speeds up response time and/or speed , or does it just increases range?
After a week i think the router has become slow, i dont know if this is because i upgraded my firmware and they implemented forcefull onemesh feature which is causing congestion and using resources.

@asdfasdfasdf

Hi, thanks for asking.

Generally, the Transmit Power only determines the range or coverage, while the speed and the response time may be also related to the range or coverage, the speed should be better in the location where is covered by better signal.

If the speed is affected, you may change the Transmit Power back to High to confirm.
