AX 11000 - Router is blocking the printer
Hi guys
I'm facing strange issue with my AX11000.
I have a network printer HP OfficeJet 4622. Every time I connect the printer using WiFi to the router (as a network printer), it works 1-3 days and stop. I mean, the printer is visible in the routers Clients menu, it have IP address:
As you see, the printer was connected 9 min ago, but the HP page is unavailable now:
Also: the printer is not available from any computer or mobile connected to the network, it works only using the USB cable. What is also important, the PING from router is working well, but not from computers connected to the WiFi. It looks like something in the router is blocking the communication (?). The printer is showing good signal strenght, it is connected to the WiFi and is still visible as connected device in the router menu.
Resolution is: restart a router. Even if I restart the printer, after reconnection the issue is still the same. Only when I reboot the router, everything is fine, I can use the printer for next few minutes, days... The printer and the router have the newest firmware.
EDIT: after change from dynamic IP to static IP - the IP address of the printer was changed, but is not visible on the routers Clints list. However, the printer is accessible via web and PING is working.

Do you mean you need to reset the AX6000 to factory defaults to make the PC communicate with the printer? Or did you just restart the AX6000 by powering it off then on?
Are all the printers connected to the AX6000 LAN directly? If there is any switch or AP in the network, try to remove it, then confirm.
When you cannot ping the printers from the PC, are the printers still showing up on the AX6000 DHCP list? What are their IP address? Try to do an Address Reservation for them:

@Kevin_Z I have tried this one and did not help. The HP printer have the IP address assigned (192.168.0.241) but it is not visible on DHCP list. After reeboot, the device is still not visible on DHCP list, but... all is working fine (printer and ping is working).

If the printer is not showing up on the DHCP list, I guess it is using a static IP address, can you confirm?
You may try to change it to obtain IP address automatically from the network, then configure the Address Reservation for it on the AX6000 as I mentioned previously on this post to lewdi4.

Yes, you are right. I have static IP adress configured on the printer. Do you think, should I remove it from adress reservation?

hi, I have exact same issue, with Brother and HP printer. The issue started after I updated AX11000 to 1.1.1 Build 202000716 rel. 84595. Essentially cannot add printer (wired or wifi) to network, both printer will show connect, can even check device update from printer (ie printer can access internet), but printer is not visible to any device on the same network, either windows PC, Mac or iOS devices via AirPrint. Reboot router will make both printers visible, but after 1 or 2 days, they will disappear from network again. Same thing, from printer can see IP, can check firmware update which means printer is connected and can access internet. Reboot will fix it but in a few days happens again. Looks like a firmware issue on AX11000. Anyone can help?
