Hi 

 

I have a Range Externder Model AC750 (Model number not available on this forum list). I am using it as a WiFI Access Point (Not a repeater). I plug it into the network, assign and IP, set up the wifi ssd, etc, and it works well for the devices conneting through the device wifi.

 

BUT the problem is happening for other PCs in the LAN. My PC connected to the LAN is not able to find some other devices / Pcs on the network. I use remote desktop a lot to connect to servers in our network. But when the TPlink is connected my PC is not able to find other devices on the network. Once the TPlink device is removed my lan problems get resolved.

 

Any idea whats happening ?

Hi, sorry for the delay.

We would like to forward your case to the senior engineers and could you please help me check the following details:

1. Since AC750 is not the model number, can you see any model like RE205 or RE200?

2. How about the hardware and firmware version about the AC750?

3. with the AC750 plugged in, even though the two devices not connected to the AC450, They would still fail to connect to each other, right?

And once AC750 unplugged, the connection went through smoothly.

 

4.May I know the model number of your home router?

Hi Thanks for the revert. Below is the info you requested:

 

1. there is another model number on the device: RE200

 

2. Firmware versio 1.0.5 Build 20200514 Rel 50730

   HW version: RE200 v4.0

 

3. My home router is Huawei HG8245A
