Model: Archer C9
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.3.1 Build 20171215 rel.35219(4555)

Hi,

I have an Archer C9 v3.0/v4.0 and I want to set up a connection alert and tried IFTTT but noticed that it was no longer supported. I found that the Tether app should have Connection Alerts within the Tools section but when I checked my App it isnt listed.

The app is up to date and the Firmware is up to date on the Router. Can someone shed any light as to why I dont see Connection Alerts in Tether? If I dont have this facility, is there another way that I can set up notifications?

Hello, it seems the Archer C9 doesn't support Connection Alerts feature, only those models that support IFTTT before can use the Connection Alerts.

Ah, OK. THanks for replying Kevin_Z. Is there any other way that I can check and see when a device connect to the network?

You may need to login to the router web GUI, then you should be able to see the connected devices either under the DHCP client list or under ARP list (Advanced->Security->IP & MAC Binding).

Hi, I can see the connected devices fine both on the tether App and the web GUI. What I am trying to get is WHEN each device joins. Is there a log anywhere that I can check to see what the connection time was for a device?

No, we cannot get the exact connected time on C9.
