Since a couple of months I have a Deco M5 with firmware 1.3.14 build 20191220 rel. 39776. According to the website of my country (Indonesia) there should be newer firmware available.
The Deco app doesn’t detect it and states I have the latest firmware. And when I try to manually update the firmware through the browser it says it’s completed without even starting to load/install it (I tried to install manually using a LAN cable directly connected to the main Deco).
Any my suggestions on how to make it work?
TP-Link Indonesia also says when something should go wrong during the firmware update this is not covered under warranty. Is this truth? Shouldn’t necessary firmware updates be a normal part of the package? Especially since TP-Link itself advises you to keep your firmware up to date?
