Hi everyone,

 

 

I'm having an issue registering my climate unit in my apartment, as I did with my old router. 

I have a cable directly from the unit to Ethernet port 2 in my primary Deco unit.

 

I got no issue finding my Yamaha reciever on port 2, on on the slave unit. 

 

 

Any idea what to do? On my old setup I just plugged in the ethernet in a available port, svanned for units in the app and it popped up.

Thank you very much for your patience.

Did you mean the climate unit is connected to the 2nd Ethernet port of main Deco, and other devices in the local network are not able to detect is?

--if yes, could you please check if the IPTV feature has been enabled or not?

And if it is enabled, please turn it off,

@TP-Link - More or less. I can't register the unit on my iPhone 8 app, like I can with my reciever. Both are basically remote control app's for the units.

 

My AV receiver is connected to port 2 in my Deco slave unit, and registers perfectly over the wireless network. 

My climate unit is connected to port 2 in my Main deco unit and can't be detected on said wireless network.

 

IPTV/VLAN is dissabled

I have a similar problem and I thought that I would be able to figure it out myself by reading the tips on different forums, but it seems that I was wrong. I'll probably have to spend the money to hire a specialist.

Hi, thanks for your patience.

May I know the model number of your climate unit?

Were you also not able to add the climate unit to its mobile APP when the climate unit is wired to the second Ethernet port of the main Deco?

Would there be any error message?

By the way, did you also use Deco M4 or other models?
