Nope. The firmware for the V1.20 cannot be installed on the V1.0 version. You may wait and see the newer firmware for your V1.0.

Firstly, ensure you have internet access when you connect the computer directly to the TL-SG1005D, then connect the AX10 to that Ethernet port, ensure the Internet LED on the AX10 is green. If it is orange, please login to its web interface page and check what is the WAN connection type, Is there a WAN IP address?
BTW, is the expected network layout as below?

Archer AX10(MY) v1.20 is a customized version for the local market, so you cannot install the EU or US firmware on it, you may wait for the new firmware for it, it will be released soon.

Mesaage aimed at tp-link in regards to quoted message.
If you are unable to downgrade the firmware. THen why give us this shitty firmware in the first place. I have been nable to use my new router since day 1 because of the firmware update. Im not happy at all. And am thinking of doing a bad review on my youtube channel because of it.
Ive always recommended tp-link.
But if this is how your after sales service will be, seeing how we are not allowed to put firmware on our own devices which means we dont really own the device we bought, i will just have to suggest either d-link or asus from now on.
This is absolutley unacceptable.

As far as I know, some firmware will implement a lot of firmware or functions improvements, and that will limit to be downgraded to the previous versions, the downgrade may cause unknown issues.
Back to your concern, may I know what kind of issue are you experiencing with the new firmware? Please provide more details and we will try to figure it out together.
