Model: RE450
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version:

Having recently moved house, our new property is has been extended so there is an old external wall half way through the house.

The Wi-Fi situation has been difficult so far.

I have an RE450 extender and a Powerline Av600 already, which we used successfully in our old house.

Is it possible to use these in conjunction?

That is, powerline A at the router, powerline B at the other end of the house and then put an ethernet cable from the powerline B into the RE450?

Seems a shame to have to ignore these options as I already own them.

@AustereAardvark

Good day,

It is ok to plug an Ethernet cable to connect the RE450 behind the powerline adapters.

There are some things to be aware of:

1. make sure the whole house is under the same electric meter;

2. please set up the RE450 as the access point mode;

Thank you very much.
