hello

I have problem with my deco m4, few time router change ip adres and dhcp range, first it was 192.168.0.xxx, after some time changed to 192.168.1.xxx, after next few weeks changed again to 192.168.0.xxx.
It made me crazy, do a bit problems with my home networks :(

Why?

Is it any possibility to set this setings ONCE FOR ALL TIME????

Hi, Sorry for the delay.

For this issue, most of time, it is related to the IP conflict.

Could you please refer to the following suggestion to have a look:

1. Please check on the IPv4 settings whether the DNS or gateway would be 192.168.0.1?

2. Was Deco the only DHCP server in the network and would there be another router that use IP address 192.168.0.1?

I have two routers connected in line
first is router with LTE modem, IP 192.168.8.1, mask 255.255.255.0, and DHCP in range 192.168..8.100-200.

second is main Deco (conected by RJ45), IP 192.168.0.1, mask 255.255.255.0, and DHC in range 192.168.0.100-200
All devices in my network connected to Deco net, and no other DHCP serwer in this net

 

Problem is that Deco change from time to time IP adres for example from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.1.1, automatically all devices change adresses but problem is with adresses which i have to wrote in config's file (for example MQTT broker)

 

It's very frustrating :(

 

PS.I know that i can set Deco in AP mode and using DHCP from firs router but i bought deco for MESH and Parental QoS...
