Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: ?

I cannot set up my Deco M4.

On the setup page it stops at the "Detecting internet connection type".

I have swapped the units, I have tried all available Ethernet outlet slots, I have replaced the Ethernet cable. I know the internet ports on the Virgin 3.0 hub are all ok as I have tried other devices.

I am not very good with the technology so any help has to be SIMPLE!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

@Baron-Henry

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

Normally, there would be more than one Deco is powered on, in case further confusion, would you please only power on one Deco and connect to the modem to do the setup.

By the way, who is your internet service provider and what is the model number of your ISP cable modem?

If the computer was directly connected to the modem, could the computer access to the internet?

Thank you very much and wait for your reply.
