Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Deco X20(US)_V1.2_201013

after update this version the internet speed will drop pls check this problem, my internet package is 300mpbs after update the speed drop to 90++mpbs so now I down grade bac the old version , the speed is normal back .

1. How are the Deco X20 connected to each other, like ISP—cable modem---Deco X20(router mode or access point mode?)----switch----4 other Deco X20s?

2. What is the model number of your ISP cable modem?

Hi, Deco X20 does not have modem mode, only the router or access point.

So I guess it is on router mode?

And now, after you downgrade the firmware, the speed is back to normal?

But I was a little curious that there is 1*Deco X60 and 1* Deco X20 under your profile, are they under the same Mesh network?

Which one is the main Deco, Deco X60, or X20?

Are they connected via Ethernet cable or wirelessly?

yes i just buy a new deco x60 for the main deco the second 1 is ethernet 1 is wirelessly.

I'm facing the same issue.

I'm using 3 pcs Deco X20 V1.0, and after power on or reset DL speed is close to 100 mbps (optimal), but after a few minutes, it drops to less than 10 mbps. Following this thread, I flashed the previous FW version (Deco X20(EU)_V1_200709) and it seems to work OK now.

The main Deco X20 is connected to Arris DOCSIS modem TG1652S

I had to turn off QOS - that solved the issue.
