Problem with RE450 5Ghz channels above 100
I spend several hours trying to connect to my wireless router wifi 5Ghz and it was impossible until I switch off auto mode and select manually channel 60. With Channel 100 and above it was impossible even if I've checked that no other neighbour devices were working in these channels. Is there a kind of limitation in the RE450? RE450 detect correctly the channel but was unable to connect in 100,104, 108... I should add that the rest of the devices (mobiles, tv,...) connects without problems in these channels.
I've checked that RE450 has the last firmware version.
Thanks,

HI, Nice to see you again.
Could you please help us run a further test to check the following details:
1. as long as the router channels are within DFS band 2 (channel 52-64), RE450 could connect to the main router with no issue;
2. then if switch the channel to DFS band 3(100-140), RE450 would failed to connect the home router and 5ghz LED would turn off;
By the way, what Is the model number of the home router?
Thank you very much for your kind reply.

Hi, we would like to follow up on your case by email and please have a check of the email box later.
As for the model number of the main router, not model of the range extender RE450, could you please have a check again?
And could you please help me check one more details: when the router was on band3 (channel 100-140), during the setup, are you still able to detect the wireless signal of main router or Wi-Fi detected but not able to connect finally?
Thank you very much.

Hi, again.
Sorry. Thought you were asking for the extender model. Router model is ZXHN H298A V1.0 V1.0.25_DIGI.1T12.
And could you please help me check one more details: when the router was on band3 (channel 100-140), during the setup, are you still able to detect the wireless signal of main router or Wi-Fi detected but not able to connect finally?
Yes, I connect to the web page of the extender and could see that the SID was detected and the channel but wasn't able to connect. To discard problems in the router I tried to connect other devices in this channel (mobiles, fire tv,...) and there was no problem.
I've replied to the email.
Thank you for your attention.

I'm facing the same issue (also EU model) connecting to 5Ghz WiFi on DFS channel 108 using an Asus RT-AX82U router.
The network scanner in the web interface is able to find the WiFi network (on DFS channel 108) and report it's network strength.
However, after filling in the password and clicking save it says the network is not available (the 5GHz LED also doesn't light up).
I have rebooted the device multiple times but without any success.
I assume I'm running the latest firmware; it is reported in the web interface as 24/01/2019.
I tried updating to the one from 20/02/2019 from the website but after the update process the web interface still shows the firmware as being from 24/01/2019.

Hello. In my case it was only a matter of time. It takes 5-10 minutes to establish the connection in band 3 although it takes only a minute or less in band 2.
Could it be your case?

Thanks for the reply.
After resetting and waiting a couple minutes it did reconnect.
However, it's an hour or two later now and it disconnected again (no signal) while every other device on the network is doing fine.
