I bought the Archer TX50E wi-fi/bluetooth card from Amazon, and I've had nothing but trouble. The card worked great for a whole 2 days, and then the problems started. Firstly Bluetooth started just dropping out, and I was getting driver error messages, and Windows stating that the device had been disabled. Reinstalling the software sorted it, until the next time it happened. From day 3 after installing the card, my PC has repeatedly crashed, and was unable to reboot to Windows 10 from the latest crash until I pulled the card out.

I've had problems with Bluetooth on this PC in the past when using USB adapters, prone to dropouts in signal, and I'm well aware of how unfriendly Windows 10 is to Bluetooth on some installations.  But I didn't expect this card to start causing the PC to randomly restart. When it didn't come back from the latest crash I initially feared the worst (new PC is a very expensive option). Edit: Since pulling the TX50E out, the PC is stable again.

From the event log, after each restart:

General: "The local Bluetooth adapter has failed in an undetermined manner and will not be used. The driver has been unloaded.".

Event ID: 17.

I can confirm that the card was installed according to instructions and connected to the F-USB pins on the motherboard, and that I've tried drivers from both the supplied disc and drivers mentioned in other threads here about the TX50E.

Current mobo: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P rev 1.0 (no bios update available other than a beta one, which I'm not risking). Don't know if there's any compatiblity issues with Gigabyte's hardware or this model.

CPU: AMD FX-8350

I'm leaning towards it being a F-USB/USB header-related problem here, but a change of mobo is not an option for this PC as it's OEM Windows 10.

I'm open to suggestions for sorting this out before I return it to Amazon for a refund as unusable.
