Model: Archer AX11000
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20200716 rel.84595(4555)

Morning,

I have had this router for a while now and it has always performed great, but a recent issue has given me cause to look at the logs, hence spotting this issue.

Issue:

  • Time and date stamps in the logs are incorrect
  • e.g. Current Time is 2020-12-16 07:55:35 but logs display something like 2020-07-14 00:00:30 for an event (router reboot) that occurred just 5 minutes ago
  • I have verified that the correct local Time and Date on the router is set correctly, updated via NTP

Expected Behaviour:

  • Logging on device should be in sync with local set time for all events

Hello, from what you've described, it seems that the AX11000 was rebooting during midnight, when the router reboots the system time will show the firmware build time until the router connects to the internet fine.

@Kevin_Z

Hmm, that is odd.

The issue I have described in my other thread has just occurred at 17:19 local time, so not midnight. I will try and send the logs to support.

The router rebooting will clear the system log.

@Kevin_Z thanks!

So the router must be crashing and rebooting itself, because I don't have the option set to automatically reboot with specific cadence.

However, logs are completely empty and I'd expect to see some startup messages in the logs?

Is the internet on the AX11000 working or not? Is there still no log at all?
