I propose enter DNS addresses also in DHCP Settings.
8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 or any DNS from your ISP.

I have done so, and verified that they have propagated to my machine. I actually used Google's 8.8.8.8 as primary, and my ISP's primary DNS server as my secondary. Hedging my bets.

Facebook loaded some messages quicker than usual, but disqus comments are still failing on pages from rollingstone.com, as an example. Also, the "Root DNS" test in the diagnostics page still shows "Fail". The jury is still out, I'll try it for a while and make a more informed update.

I have the same problems with my W8970B

With great interest I am following this threat. I have the same problem with my TPLINK, however it is the 8970 version.

Changing to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 did not change anything.

As hinted at above, I thought it might be marginally better, but it's certainly not cured, I still get random timeouts quite regularly on some sites. For me certain sites seem more prone to it than others

If I turn on my VPN service, everything loads, albeit with the slight delay associated with the extra hops. What symptoms do you have, charles_b ?

What kind of problem do you have? Please describe it carefully.

Basically the system works. Behind the 8987 ist a WDR4900 working as wlan-switch and there are also two netgear switches.

But I get this error message which I did not care so much.

However, I have a Sony AVR (Model DN) which is supposed to receive internet radio. I can get an internet connection with the sony and updates of the firmware work perfectly. But if I select the Internetradio the message reades "No service available".

At the moment I am trying to figure out what is wrong with the network. I am not sure I can blame it on the Sony alone.

Sorry for the double posting. Maybe it is also a queue issue that I can not edit "settings" and "notifications" in my profile.

I changed mine to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 also and I still get a fail. Any suggestions would be great. I'm not sure if its related or not, but I loss connectivity several times throughout the day.
Thanks
