Unable to connect Xbox to range extender AC750
Hi,
I am having connection issues with my xbox series X to my new range extender. I have successfully connected all my other devices and have got them working, but for some reason my xbox does not recieve any internet when connected both via wifi or ethernet from the range extender.
The xbox will try to connect and say its unable to find an IP address.
Please help!

Hi, KKondo
(If anyone had the same case, )please help me check the following information as well:
- Did both 2.4ghz and 5ghz have the same issue? How about connecting the Xbox via cable to the RE200? Would that made any difference?
- Would there be any error message when Xbox failed to connect?
- What is the model number of the home router and have you set up any MAC filtering on the router?
By the way, what are the hardware and firmware versions of the RE200?
Then please send the above answers to support@tp-link.com with the subject【Forum ID 242946】Unable to connect Xbox to the range extender
Thanks a lot and wait for your reply.

Hi,
Is the AC750 RE205 or RE200?
How about the hardware and firmware version about the AC750?
Have you set up the static IP address on the xbox series X before?
Would rebooting the Xbox make any difference?
By the way, Did the Xbox work with the home router before?
And may I know the model number of your home router?
Thank you very much.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. It works fine on ethernet connection but not wirelessly.
It is the RE220 with firmware 1.0.3
Hardware version 2.0
I have tried setting up a static IP address, as the automatic one was not working. I've still had no luck.
It connects to the router directly without an issue.
My router is a Virgin media hub 3.0.
I have tried resetting the xbox and again have had no luck. All my other devices seem to be able to connect.

Thank you very much for your kind reply.
We would like to forward your case to the senior engineers for further help.
At the same time, could you please help me check the following information:
1. delete the previous wireless network profile on the Xbox then reboot it one more time;
2.unplug and plug the RE220;
3. try to connect the Xbox to the RE220 again via automatic IP address;
Thanks a lot and wait for your reply.

Hi,
Did you also have RE220?
--if not, what is the model number of the home router and how about the hardware and firmware version?
Did both wireless connection and Ethernet connection fail to work on the Xbox, or just wireless one?
Would there be any error message when it failed to work?
Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

@TP-Link
Hi, i have RE200 v4 and latest firmware (EU)_V4_200922. My problem is connecting to 5Ghz. Fortunately, the 2.4 Ghz network works fine. All other devices work properly connecting to the 5Ghz network, only Xbox Series X has a problem. I have router Archer C7.
