Kali linux
Order details: TP-Link USB 600 Mbps WiFi Wireless Network Adapter for Desktop PC with 2.4GHz/5GHz High Gain Dual Band 5dBi Antenna Wi-Fi, Supports Windows 10/8.1/8/7/XP, Mac OS 10.9-10.14 (Archer T2U Plus)
I was about to order TP-Link wireless network for my ethical hacking workshop, but I heard that the Atheros AR9721 chipset which belongs to version V1 only will be supported. And the latest one V2 will not be supported to be used along with Kali Linux, is there any way to order the previous version one.
And how to verify and purchase the Hardware version and Firmware Version?
Any help with the version would be helpful.
Thanks.

We can only say the chipset of the Archer T2U Plus v1 supported monitor mode and packet injection. However, we do not provide any higher driver for Kali Linux, only Linux kernel 2.6.24 ~ 4.15, so if you want to use it on the Kali Linux newer than this, you might need to find the suitable driver first from some third-party, such as GitHub.

Hello, you cannot get a guarantee on this, neither our TP-Link manufacture nor the reseller can guarantee you can get a V1. While as far as I can tell, there is only Archer T2U Plus V1.0 available in the market now, V2 is not released yet.

@Kevin_Z Thank you so much for replying here.
If I order TP-Link USB 600 Mbps it will support monitor mode and packet injection right?
