Tp extender RE220

womdered if anyone can help, can’t connect any device to this, I can see the extender available but it won’t accept WiFi password and no password on the back of it. Downloaded the app but it doesn’t recognise the device as I can’t get on the extender network without a password.
not the most tech savvy person. Got the kids moaning about it 😕

Hi, please refer to the following suggestions:
1. factory reset the RE220: hold the reset pinhole for 10s;
2.then come back to the APP and connect to the default Wi-Fi and set up on the Tether APP, such as

Thank you for your reply! I have reset it but when I try and connect my iPhone to the extender network it asks for a password. Tried admin and the WiFi main password but I can’t get any further. The app says no device recognised @TP-Link

Hi，Can I have a picture of the page that it asked for the password?
After reset, did you see the SSID of the RE220 go back to the default one like TP-Link extender_xxxx？
And what is the hardware version of the RE220?
