Model: Archer C9
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 3.17.1 Build 20201118 Rel. 42895

I updated my router with the latest firmware released from TP-Link. I downloaded the right firmware from

https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-c9/v1/#Firmware

After the firmware upgrade.

1. The router reset to factory reset. This was not the case for the previous router firmware upgrade that i did couple of times in previous years.

2. The management page at 192.168.0.1 shows TP-LINK beta watermark across all the pages.

Is this fine? Should i revert back the firmware?

@samjag

Hi, thanks for asking. This version seems to be a beta firmware, while it should be OK to install it on your router, you may just keep it and reconfigure the router to connect to the internet.
