The main router works correctly in that band and is detected by other devices properly. If I manually configure the network it does not connect to the main router even if it broadcasts on that band.

Could you please help me check the following information:
1. What is the model number of your home router and are you able to see which wireless channel on the 5ghz it is, like channel 48 or 149?
--Since the EU version extender does not support band 4(channel 149-165) of 5ghz due to CE certification, if the main router is within the band 4, are you able to change it to band 1 like channel from 36-48?

I have the same issue with my RE200 however all other device are connecting via 5GHZ to main router without any issue .
Looks like one of the modules doesn't work correctly on RE200 ??
