placing one of the 3 antenas faraway from RE580D with a TL-ANT24EC5S extension cable
Hi,
In my physical future scenario i will need to relocate one of the RE580D antennas to be in a better place to RECEIVE optimal signal from the host router.
I plan to use one TP-LINK antenna extension cable like TL-ANT24EC5S (5 meters) or TL-ANT24EC3S (3 meters) (or maybe both 8meters) and relocate one original antenna in the end of this extension cable.
My first question is maybe to TP-LINK product specialists:
Any of the 3 antennas is used to RECEIVE and TRANSMIT ? or there´s a specific one(s) to prioritized to RECEIVE ?
My option will work ?
relocating one of the antennas ?
I need to leave some antenna(s) in the RE580D unit so they can TRANSMIT to the client devices in the same area around them.
I can imagine the RX and TX signals will decrease but having one antenna in the line of sight of the host router is mandatory to have enough source signal.
I scanned already the source signal optimal place.
Can anyone tell me if this kind of situation has been tried ?
or if you guess it will work, or the problems i will face
thank you for your insights
