My router is downstairs and connected via WPA 4226KIT to my computer upstairs. If I want to increase wifi coverage to other upstairs rooms will a WA850 wifi extender installed upstairs do the job or do I need another Powerline adapter. The extender could be installed about 12m from my computer WPA4226 but about 30m from the downstairs router.

Hi,

It is ok to use the TL-WA850RE to extend the wireless range of TL-WPA4226.

But as for the distance, it would be much better to put 850RE 6-8 meters from the TL-WPA4226 for a good performance.
