Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: Firmware Version 1.00 Build 20171218 Rel .55399(6985)

Hi,

 

After i configure the WIFI settings , new admin password , connecting to my Main router .

 

It works for 2 -3 days , after this TP Link Wifi Extender TL-WA850RE gets reset automatically to Factory Default.

 

This has happended 3 times , i have also updated Firmware to latest still same issue.

 

Please help.

Thanks for your time and patience.

May I know how long have you had the 850RE and when did this issue start?

When the 850RE auto-reset itself, will you see all the lights turn on then off, and RE and signal will remain off?

I had been using for 3-4 years , in between i had set a new name for wifi but reverted it back old one.

I do not know what lights go on/off but the admin password gets reset to default and wifi name which i had set also goes away.

Latest update is

It is working from last 1 week ,only new change i did was to correct the timezone ...lets see if it gets reset.

How about now?

After reset, did the RE still keep resetting back to the default wireless settings?

If yes, I am afraid that the range extender might be broken and needs to be replaced.
