Did the 2.4ghz and 5ghz lit up or not?

What is the model number of your home router?

Have you tried to use the Tether APP to set it up:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1373/

@TP-Link I am using the tether app but it drops out and I have to repeat the process all over again. Its an E300
