Alright, so i got this adapter on one of my pcie slots and connected to a 5G wifi and it should run 867mbps but only runs 300mbps. (My wifi does like 1000mbps) can someone help me possibly get the 867mbps speed?

Can we have the model of the wireless router? Is it working on 802.11ac mode or 802.11a/n/ac mode? You can try to change the wireless channel to that with little inference, you can run a Wi-Fi analyzer on the PC to verify which channel is busy and which is clear, then choose a clear channel on the router, reboot both the router and the PC to confirm.

 

BTW, please kindly verify what is the driver version and system version of the Windows 10 as this: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2722/.
