Second Deco unit can't connect to primary Deco unit
Second Deco unit suddenly stopped working. It is disconnected from primary unit and can't reconnect. I tried resetting the unit, deleting it from system to reconnect and I even plugged it beside the primary unit without success. It keeps rebooting, flashing red and then rebooting again.

Thanks for your patience.
For your case, could you please help me check the following information:
- Could you please record a video clip about the rebooting Deco?
- After reset, would it become flashing green and ready for setup?
- Is there any change recently, like a firmware update or power outage?
- Have you tried to set up this one as the mian Deco to see if that helped?
Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

@TP-Link The system is new. I received it about a week ago and updated it's firmware as soon as it was installed. I did try reinstalling it as the primary unit without success. I never turned either blue or green. There were about 3 power outages last week however this situation only started yesterday. The primary unit is working perfectly.

Thanks for your patience.
Could you please attached a video clip or upload a video about the rebooting Deco to YouTube or Google drive link so that we could let the senior engineers to have a further test?
At the same time, please refer to this link to run a firmware recovery to see if that helped:

Not computer savvy but will try your link. However, this is a new system. Shouldn't I just return it to the store?

@TP-Link Tried your link but when trying to set static IP on Step 1 i can only do 192.168.0. The computer won't accept the xxx part.

@TP-Link Also tried the instructions on the link without the static IP address but when login to 192.168.0.1 it logged me into the ISP's modem/router.

Hi, thank you very much for your kind reply.
Sorry for the delay.
When you run the firmware recovery, the computer needs to connect to this Deco only so at this moment, the computer has no internet;
After checking with the engineers, if the firmware recovery is not successful, it is recommended to contact the shop retailer to get it replaced first.
Thanks a lot.
