Is it possible to change the imei of the router? I have a specific sim that only works with the specific imei.

Nope, the device IMEI cannot be changed or modified.

Just to confirm, may I know who is your ISP, please? Why does it require to change the IMEI of the router, is there any specific reason?

most ISP pair their simcard with the imei number of the router they supply in fact customer is forced to use the router what carrier will supply. no more upgrade or change powerful router unless imei can be changed to the same router which carrier given. if there is any option letme know also Thanks

ISP provided a 150mbps router DWR-M921 as you can see specs its a 150mpbs 10/100 lan , i want to upgrade to a 300mpbs 10/100/1000 lan but unfortunately im forced to use this one

@Kevin_Z Please consider IMEI changing as an option, we are stucked with my Sim card in an inferior and bad quality router. I am planning to buy MR600 to replace it, but it wont work since my sim is locked to the IMEI of the old, network carrier provided router.
