@TWbrian

Thank you for the suggestion.

We have already feedback to the related department, and the bandwidth control feature will be available on the wireless routers in the future firmware update, but we cannot provide you an ETA, we cannot know which model will have it at the moment.

You are suggested to pay attention to the official website, or the new firmware notifications on your router web GUI for any new firmware updates.

Needed bandwith Control in AX1500

I tried enabling bandwidth control for the guest network but when I clicked on the option it redirected to the settings which is not there.

How Can I enable bandwidth for AX1500? (If this feature is missing then when will we get it ?)

Firmware Version : 1.2.0 Build 20210421 Rel. 64516(5553)
Hardware Version : Archer AX10 v1.20

The toggle is missing!

@Shield

Hello, as replied already, the Archer AX10/AX1500 doesn't support Bandwidth Control, it only supports QoS, you can confirm if QoS can meet your requirement:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2693/

Regarding why you can search this option on the router web GUI, the web GUI may not update accordingly to the specific firmware. We will remind R & D to update that in future versions.

Sorry that we don't know much about the hardware and firmware limitations, so we will not know if the AX10/AX1500 hardware will support bandwidth control actually. If you do need this feature, you need to find one that already supports it.

Bandwidth control is a basic software feature which can easily be implemented.

Sorry to see that Tp-Link is removing important and basic features.

Now I have to return this Router and purchase other companies router who doesn't remove basic features.

Really can't really on the uncertainties here

Thanks
