Problem:

I have no internet access

Having trouble with no service it can identify the SIM Number but doesnt detect a service.

Device LCD Text - "Connecting..."

tpMiFI Text - "No Service"

Working perfectly fine before until this happened.

Device Info as listed

Firmware Version: 1.1.8 Build 201110 Rel.1026n

Hardware Version: M7650(EU) v1.1

ISP Version: 20082701

SIM Card Status: PIN disabled

Network Search: Auto

Purchase Date: Sept 30, 2020 (Few Months Old)

IP Address: 0.0.0.0

What I tried:

- Changing to Different APNs

- Changing Different SIM Card (ISP: GOMO.PH, Globe Telecom, SMART) These 3 different SIMs are working on my phone

- Upgrading FIrmware

- Changing DNS

- Factory Reset

What I haven't tried:

- ISP Update as I couldn't find the file in the website.

Hi, Can I have a picture of the screenshot of the error message when you failed to update the firmware?

As for the internet issue, could you please send me a picture of the advanced>status page?

And please also save a picture when it gave you an error when doing manual network research.

By the way, how long have you had the M7650?

I bought the device in end like December 2019 or January 2020. Unfortunately due to COVID, it did not get used much. Also I noticed the sticker on the device says V1.1 but the software says V1.0. If I try changing the firmware for V1.0 that works but when I try firmware images for V1.1, it says it is not for this version.

For searching for networks, when I try via the web I get the following error

with the app, I get another error

I tried but it doesnt seem to connect to the device via USB. The read me says the device must be powered OFF when I connect to the USB. Is that correct?

Hi, thank you for the patience.

It is right to leave the MiFi power off.

Would you mind trying to turn off the windows firewall, then restart the computer and run the firmware recovery program again?

Please also reset M7650 once to have a look. (there is a reset pinhole after removing the back case and you could hold it for 10s until “Power Off” appears on the screen)

At the same time, for the internet service, I see the ISP profile has not been correctly updated with the SIM carrier- Etisalat in the U.A.E.

Have you tried to manually create the ISP APN profile to have a look:

I also tried to set the Etisalat APN manually from what I could find via google.

Did you have one more SIM card available for the test?

I started thinking there might be something wrong with the hardware of M7650.
