Currently i using Archer C7 Wifi Router , and now want to extend the coverage area, as the reseller tell me if i buy the DECO unit , i must turn off the current unit archer c7 wifi function and this C7 do as router only. this is the best configuration?

You could also consider keeping the Archer C7 as the main router and use Deco M4 as the access point;
Since the Wi-Fi network of C7 did not support mesh roaming as Deco M4’s, some customers wish to make all the mobile devices under the same mesh and might consider turning off the Wi-Fi of C7;
