Hi,

I have followed the manual instructions for the WPS setup.

The device synced well and I already have the SSID-EXT network available but it doesn't accept the host network password (the manual says it should).

Is this normal?

How can I bypass this issue?

Thanks/Brgds

@jcasqueiro

Hi,

Please reset the 850RE first by holding the reset pinhole for 10s then set up again via Tether APP:

https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/faq/1373/

And the reason for this issue is that the WPS configuration made the host router randomly generate an extremely long wireless password which was used for 850RE to link with the main router and but it was totally different from the wireless password of the host router;

Thank you very much.
