Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: latest

The internet provider gives Client/User a M4 unit.  As the internet connection is run as a private network, User does NOT have access to network password.

User wants to connect a printer using WPS.

User loads Deco APP, but APP instructions say to restart the Deco M4 and wait for Blue flashing light etc etc.

User cannot do this, as he will thereby disable his network connection.

 

So question is - How can User enable WPS option to connect printer, as the APP cannot be used on the system by USer?

Hi, the WPS feature Is on the Deco APP(More>WPS).

You just need to find the nearest Deco unit to the printer and press the button on the APP to enable the WPS feature.

Hi, the WPS feature Is on the Deco APP(More>WPS).

You just need to find the nearest Deco unit to the printer and press the button on the APP to enable the WPS feature.

@chris7of9 Your reply does not take into consideration 2 things.

1. The App only seems to work on an iPhone. On Samsung J6 the App is trying constantly to connect to the Deco as if setting up a new network and not binding to it.

2. If a person already has the APP on their phone, because they have a network of Decos at home, it cannot be used to connect to another Deco on another network to initiate the WPS.
