Model: Deco M4

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 1.4.3 Build 20200918 Rel. 74289

My deco m4 router is not working on 5ghz network. I have turned on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz but it's only connecting to 2.4ghz. It's to be mentioned I have tried with turning of 2.4ghz only but Alas! no wifi signal is found then. My main computer is connected with Direct cable from DECO and it's Link speed is 1.0 gbps and my WiFi link speed is 144Mbps(Galaxy note 10+).

Please I need a solution as I am having terrible WiFi connection just because of this. May be shouldn't be buying this garbage :(

Hi,

May I know how long have you had the Deco?

Have you tried to hardware reset the Deco M4?

By the way, if possible, could you please download the Wi-Fi analyzer on the smartphone and check if there is any hidden Wi-Fi?

Hi, the current wireless network is all on 2.4ghz and have you switch to the 5ghz option on the APP to detect any signal？

By the way, may I know what is the SSID of your Deco network?

Have you tried the hardware reset and did it help?

Since you have had it for 6 months, did the issue just start recently?
