Hi i bought an tp-link TL-WN722N V3 for linux as a virtual machine, the kernel version is 5.9.0, but i can't connect the adapter with the virtual machine. What can i do?

So far tp-link official driver for Linux only support up to kernel 4.4.3 for model TL- WN722N V3
Operating System: Linux (kernel 2.6.18 ~ 4.4.3) : https://www.tp-link.com/support/download/tl-wn722n/#Driver
As Linux kernel is not listed in the above , it is hard to guarantee that the adapter could work on your Linux system or its stability.
But there may be some developers providing their own drivers in Linux forums such as Github for adapter chipset “RTL8188EUS”, you could give it a try:
