Hi all,

 

I have recently added configured VoIP to my FTTP AC1200 VR500v home router, and it's up and running.

 

I now want to change the voicemail message people hear when a call isn't answered. I realise you can do this by pressing *30 and recording your own message, but I want to use a professional message I have made in .wav format.

 

I copied the file to voicemail/voiceNotify/ directory of the USB I have attached to it and named it recNotifyDef_g711u.wav (and also recNotifyCustom_g711u.wav), and it now plays perfectly through the router console whether I choose default or custom.

 

However, when I call, the default message that comes with the router is played.

 

Has anyone managed to set a prerecorded/professional voicemail message on any of the Archer series routers
