@farzad_ict  Hi,

Sorry for the late update

1> login to Modem and go to Wireless settings> Channel width> choose 40Mhz, rather than 20Mhz for 2.4Ghz.

2>Windows >Device Manager > Network Adapters > [tp-link Wireless Adapter] > Properties > Advanced tab. Choose Channel Width for 2.4Ghz, and set it to Auto or 40Mhz.

Update : 3> Network adapter properties, 802.11 N Mode> Enabled

@Solla-topee

Thank you for replying, I have 2 PCs with same hardware, and 1 router. The solution worked for second PC and speed reached 150/150 Mbps.

Also on first PC the transmit speed reached 150 but receive speed is still 54 Mbps. What can I do for increasing receive speed?

@farzad_ict

Hello,

Normally real Wi-Fi speed test result is about 30%-50% of the Link speed, as 2.4Ghz has much interference.

Do you mean 2nd PC speed test is 15Mbps download , but on first PC speed is 54Mbps? Are they located in the same place?

Did first PC use tp-link wireless adapter? You could try to update the driver for first PC or try a different wireless adapter and see if speed could be higher.

@Solla-topee

No, as you see in the screenshot that I sent in the previous post (WiFi properties window), the Link Speed has 2 parameters, Receive/Transmit.

Before changing the Channel Width, the first PC showed 54/72 and the second PC showed 72/72.

After changing the Channel Width, the first pc showed 54/150 and the second pc showed 150/150.

I'm asking why the first pc link speed is 54/150 not 150/150? Why Receive parameter didn't increase to 150 also, like the second pc? Should I change another settings in Windows?

First PC Adapter: TP-Link TL-WN781ND

Second PC Adapter: Realtek 8821AE

Router: TP-Link TD-W9970

all in one room

@farzad_ict Hi,

Thank you for your reply!  on first PC, please enable 802.11n Mode .

If still not up to 150Mbps on Wireless Link speed, please disable 801.11a/b/g Mode.

@Solla-topee

I'm already connected on 802.11n (as you see in the screenshot)

wireless mode is Auto

802.11d is Disable

bandwidth is 20_40MHz (there is no only_40MHz option)

Why link speed receive is lower than transmit? Other PC (with Realtek adapter) is connected on 150/150 now, so the problem is not from the router, maybe it is from tp-link wireless adapter driver, maybe you need to release a new update for it.
