Firmware Version: 1.0.1 Build 20200907 rel.76867(4555)

Hello,

I found some unexpected WAN port ON/OFF events in router logs (listed below).

Trigger is LAN port ON/OFF.

LAN ON/OFF is OK, because there is connected TV box (Mecool K7).

So why does the WAN port ON/OFF?

@AX73

May I know who is your ISP?

As per your suspicion, what if you disconnect this TV box (Mecool K7) from the AX73 LAN, will the WAN connection be stable on the AX73? Please ensure you have a stable connection bypass this AX73.

Router ARCHER AX73 change WAN connection state on LAN device power ON/OFF

@Kevin_Z This has no connection with ISP. It has connection with device connected on LAN port (TV box - Mecool K7).

Today we turn on the TV box -> it will immediately appear in the log:

2021-03-11 08:49:01 Led Controller INFO [1146] Start to run WAN0_OFF

I'm attaching logs from the first router boot:

2020-09-07 00:00:30 Led Controller INFO [1146] Start to run WAN1_OFF

2020-09-07 00:00:30 Led Controller INFO [1146] Start to run WAN0_ON

2020-09-07 00:00:29 Led Controller INFO [1146] Start to run STATUS_ON

2020-09-07 00:00:27 Led Controller INFO [1146] Start to run NIGHT

2020-09-07 00:00:27 Led Controller INFO [1146] Start to run GENERAL

May be there are two "internal" WAN ports in the router WAN0 and WAN1 and situation described above is normal behavior.

I have just turned TV box OFF (09:29:16 is our current local time in Czech republic/Prague/EUROPE):

2021-03-11 09:29:16 Led Controller INFO [1146] Start to run WAN1_ON

2021-03-11 09:29:16 Led Controller INFO [1146] Start to run WAN0_OFF

2021-03-11 09:29:16 Led Controller INFO [1146] Start to run LAN_OFF

During "Start to run WAN1_ON/OFF" events we did not encountered Internet connection drop (checked by ping www.google.com -t + copy file from remove Windows server via mstsc.exe client).

@AX73

That means when there are WAN1_ON/OFF events, the internet is actually working properly without an issue?

I confirm that Internet connection is working fine during WAN port ON/OFF events.

So only question is - what do these events mean? What is difference between WAN0 and WAN1 ports in log events?
