The controller inside the AX50 is awful on 1GB plan. I returned this piece of junk and kept my AX10 - it’s been amazing ever since!

Hello

i am getting exactly the same issue with my AX50. I have my router conected to my gateway, in witch I have more than 300Mbps upload and more than 300Mbps download. But if I connect the AX50 to the gateway and my computer ethernet cable to the AX50, I am only getting arround 105Mbps upload.

I set the QoS with 900Mbps up and down and did not make any difference. My firmware is also updated.

I am at this point considering this device has a hardware limitation to go over 105Mbps.  The Tplink support teams could not figure it out neither.

I will appreciate any advise.

Sell it, buy some other (rather avoid TP-link), end this misery. That's the only good advice that fix all you issues with this mess. Sorry.

@JF90 Have you referred to my setting steps in the original post? Please manually enter the bandwidth and disable the device priority, then reboot the router and test the speed again.

Router "TP-Link Archer AX55":
If the speed cuts, update the firmware to the current one, at the time of publication of this text and:
Turn off the "TX Enable" function on the LAN.
Optional: Enable Full 1000 Mbit/s duplex
(if you have an 8-core cable and speeds above 100 Mbit/s)
