@eclecticnetwork  Hi, I receive email from TP-Link technical support, they recommend to set de the transmit power in middle, in bot wifi5 and wifi6 settings, working together, I just give a comment, that before make this new settings, the router restart today two times, one earlier in the morning, and at mid day, but this time without the log of clear all stats because the time is changed, the last restart was almost 4 days ago. TP-Link tech support recommend a new firmware upgrade 1.3.0, so the sent to me the link to download, and do the upgrade, so I perform al this recommendations and the firmware upgrade, the router wakeup with the new fimaware, but the problem is that some of my wifi5 devices couldn't login to the 2.4GHz wifi5, I'll leave it like that to verify its behavior, and see how long it lasts without restarting itself. If perhaps the router returns to present the same behavior as before, I will have to leave the same configuration that I had in 2.4GHz only wifi5 and in 5GHz only wifi6 with all other functions of wifi6 disabled.

Thi sis the email:

Dear Customer,

Changing the transmit power to Middle with wifi6 and wifi5 mode together is ok.

Here is the latest version of the official firmware, if changing the transmit power does not fix the problem, please download and install this version to see if it solves the problem.

@eclecticnetwork Hi, I would like to notify, after the firmware upgrade tu V1.3, the router not presented the log clear all stats because the time is changed" any more. I note just little more stability,  the sweetsop in stability that I conclude after to many test, is, OFDMA (enable) TWT(disable) WPA3 (enable), QoS (enable with 16 devices 15mbps upload and 40mbps download), Parental Control (Disable), Security Firewall SPI and Pings for LAN (enable) and all ALG (Enable), WIFI 2.4GHz and 5GHz enable en Transmit Power mode in High (because en middle some end points could not be reached) both in 802.11a/n/ac/ax mixed, wih WPA2/WPA3-Personal. All this configuration was apply immediately after the firmware update, the last Friday, but from that day to this Monday, the router present a WAN0 and WAN 1 and LAN, off and on logs, the difference is that after this new restarts, all my wifi5 devices can automatically connect to the wifi network,  I guess this is not the correct solution but yes it help to have a better performance in the unit. Hope your soon response and Thank you for your technical support.

@Kevin_Z  Yes thank you for your support, it has this time without restarts

Online Duration:

3 Days 20 hours 17 minutes

Do you know way this router AX21 doesn't have the MU-MIMO feature? Is it possible that in a future firmware upgrade include this MU-MIMO feature?

Thank You .

Hi, the Archer AX21 does support MU-MIMO and OFDMA, and it is enabled by default.

@Kevin_Z  wow, is curius to me, because TP-Link didn't mensionet it on the web page, and on it's  box graphics, and my neighbor recently boug the 1500 and it says on the box graphics MU-MIMO, and is on the configuration menu to enable or disable, and in the AX21 I don't see that option for enable or disable, just for the OFDMA.

@eclecticnetwork

Both the AX21 and AX1500 support MU-MIMO, the on/off option was removed on the recent released firmware of the AX21, as it is enabled by default.
