Blinking Signal light
The extender shows on my IPhone and Tether however is not connecting to the WiFi router, did reset it and also in close proximity of the router however the signal keeps blinking showing it is not turning solid blue ....

1>Please verify your Wi-Fi password by forgetting your Wi-Fi network on cell phone first :
Go to Settings-> WiFi on your phone, Tap (or Long press the router's WiFi name ->Forget / Delete the network
Please reconnect to your router wifi and it will ask for a password, will it accept your router password?
2> factory reset tp-link range extender : press the reset hole for 10 secs with RE powered on
On cell phone Wi-Fi settings, connect to Range extender Wi-Fi first ( do not connect to router wifi or and turn off mobile data)
3> follow instructions on Tether app step by step ( carefully examine the Wi-Fi password you have put in, and it is recommended to create a different SSID/WiFi name for RE )

Hi tried all the steps it would still not connect
1. I disconnected my router through forget network
2 . As soon as the extender is switched on my phone automatically connects to the TP link extender
3. I go to tether and it does not find the extender despite it being connected on my WiFi
4. tried disconnecting on my cell WiFi and instead connect through the app still it does not find it
5. The signal LED is pale and doesn't seem to receive significant

Sorry for the delayed update.
Please turn off VPN or Adguard/Lookout or security app if your have any and see if Tether app could find RE or not?
If not, please use domain ' tplinkrepeater.net 'or '192.168.0.254 ' to login tplink web page and here is a detailed instruction to set up through Web page:

Please try a laptop/ a different connected to RE's wifi to login as well, if the could not login please let me know the IP address & Gateway when laptop is connected to RE's Wi-Fi :
