HI,

After a few days of troubleshooting a weird problem I was able to duplicate the issue and repeat it on demand.  Anytime i set the 5G to mixed mode with AX a 2017 macbook pro would drop its connectivity (wifi would show disconnected) and show no networks.  Recycling the network back and on would solve the issue for a few seconds.  No other devices in the house have this issue.  This problem only showed up when I replaced my old router a few days ago.  If I put 5G in mixed mode without AX the MacBook works fine.  Not sure why this is happening, but there isn't any updates available on the mac side for the built in airport card to update.

Thanks

@JeffreyCurtis

What is the specific macOS version of this 2017 MacBook Pro?

How about connecting this 2017 MacBook Pro to the 2.4G network, will it connect properly when enabling the AX mode?

@Kevin_Z

Hello,

its 11.2.3.

The issue doesn't appear on 2.4 with AX turned on.   With 5G and AX on the network will just stop. The wifi will show it's connected but pressing the menu bars will show no networks. Recycling the wifi power on and off will allow it to reconnect and work for minutes to 20-30 minutes.

thanks
