Hello,

I updated the firmware according this post https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/230472 to have the last version available in order to have WDS available.

All was good with the update, but after enable WDS and configuring it , I´m not able to access to the internet from my c80.

I tried with 2.5 and 5ghz without success, on both I see the connection successfully showed on WDS menu after its configuration.

Is there any solution for it?

Can I have the model number of the main router that you are connecting to with this C80?

 

Please show us the WDS status on the C80, ensure you can get a correct IP address assigned by the main router, then do a ping test by connecting to the C80 network, try to ping the main router gateway, as well as www.google.com, show us the results. Here is the guide to do the ping:

https://imagineer.in/blog/setting-tplink-archer-c2-as-repeater/ Follow the steps mentioned in above link .I followed it & it works for me 1. Change router default IP address 2.Enable WDS & connect to your main router 3. Disable DHCP server on your archer C80 4. Restart archer C80
