Hey

Got some new e4 deco mesh wifi in a flash sale on amazon for a friend, but I can't figure out how to connect them to his BT home hub (WiFi on it is utter garbage)

Can I just use these to extend the WiFi? I have the m4 set up on virgin media and it was so easy to do (switch the router supplied by virgin to modem mode and away you go), but on the BT home there is no modem mode - any help?

Hi, you could refer to the following suggestions:

1. connect one unit to the BT home hub via Ethernet cable as the master unit;

2. then set up the whole unit on the Deco APP under wireless router mode--which is also the default mode;

3. then switch all of them altogether to the access point mode on the APP so that the BT home hub could keep the router mode;
