Unable to locate TCP WISSINWUK SMART PLUGs after DECO M5 Firmware Update
I updated our network of FOUR Deco M5 devices yesterday as part of routine hygiene maintenance and was greeted with "My fairy lights no longer work". The Fairy lights in question are controlled via Google Home to a TCP (WISSINWUK) SMART PLUG.
I tried everything... try and disconnect and reaquire the smart devices... nothing worked reliably... I eventually got an association but it was unrealiable in action.
In the end I didn't know what to do... so reverted all M5s to 1.5.1 using M5 1.0_en_1.5.1 Build 20201022 rel. 66804_US_EU_AU_CA_JP_SW_up.bin
And after the restart... the devices are discoverable and work OK.
1.5.3 is broken for me; I suggest others experiencing weird smart home issues consider rolling back a bit.

Nivag
PS
I did notice that one M5 (the v3 one in our network of mostly v1s) was running hot... but then again I have found they often run reasonably toasty
