Hi community. I am having device connection issues since the latest update. I am unable to connect 2 of my security cameras, they refuse to accept the wifi password. If I do manage to get them connected, they only stay connected for a few minutes. Desperately need these cameras back up and running.

Hi,

May I know the model number of your security cameras?

Did this issue start just after the firmware upgrade?

Would turning off the fast roaming on the Deco APP make any difference?

And would temporarily turning off the 5ghz improve the connection?

Yes this issue started after the new firmware

Already turned off Roaming as suggested by support, it didnt solve the issue

Turning off 5ghz has zero effect.

 

I have since rebooted each Deco, it seemed to have resolved the issue with 2 of the Decos but my main Deco is still unable and will not accept the connection of the sercurity cameras. I can see on here that this has been a problem for years with firmware updates.

 

I have never had any problems with firmware updates but this one is very unstable for me.
